We were listening to a Radio New Zealand podcast the other day. They were interviewing a Kiwi woman called Tze Ming Mok. She was asked to describe New Zealand and this is her quote…
“New Zealand is a kind of a post-colonial, deconstructed loose floppy environment where you can be a bit different and not necessarily entrenched in anything”
I like this quote, it is kind of important when you live abroad to hear people state your identity. And in this case, I think Tze Ming Mok has described the New Zealand that I know very well.
