Poems from the 2009, Vineyard Benelux Conference.

Welcome, sveikas, tere tulemast, velkommen, bienvenue, welkom.

Many of you reading this page will be first time visitors to ‘out for lunch’, so welcome. I would like to take this moment to remind you that this is my personal blog and in no way represents the Vineyard movement or Vineyard Klaipeda.

The below poems were all written at the 2009 Vineyard Benelux conference. A couple of days before the conference I was asked to bring poetry related to the theme of ‘Church for Others’. It was expected that I would simply pull these poems out of my existing collection, but I had not previously written on this subject, so instead I sat down and wrote these poems during either our tea break or worship time. Most of them started with the prayer of ‘okay God what have you for us now’.

These are the poems that I wrote.

Questions. From Friday morning.
Church Is. From Friday afternoon.
Church for Others. From Friday evening.
Social Justice and Evangelism. From Saturday morning.
Remember the Orphans. From Saturday afternoon.
For Others. A poem that was written for, but never read at the conference.

I would really like to take the time out to simply thank God for creating me to be creative. It took a long time for these gifts to come to the surface, but I am very grateful and have so much fun enjoying them. So, ta God.

Also please feel free to read more of my poetry, ‘Clueless in America’, my blog or visit the late for supper shop.

And if you enjoy what you read and want to donate to my artistic endeavors please feel free to

towards its production.
Cheers Kel
