When Will I See You Lord?

Lord God, in my brokenness,
In my pride and in my fallenness,
Give me my inheritance,
Take me to the poor.

Father whilst I still have breath,
Whilst I still worship from sin,

May your kingdom come.
Give me my inheritance,
And take me to the poor.

Father bring me the parched, those who thirst.
Quench their longing with water, rid their strife.
And alleviate their desires with your fountain of life.

Collect the outcasts, strangers and foreigners.
Invite them in under the shelter of your wings.
Adopt them Lord God, into eternal blessings.

Muster the naked, collect them Father.
Clothe them with joy, show them glory from your face.
And cover their shame with your eternal grace.

Gather the tired and sick,
Gather them inside the city walls, let the blind see.
Look after them Lord, look after them with your healing mercy.

Visit the prisoners Lord.
Bring them curtain-ripping forgiveness,
And lead the captives in your train to a home of righteousness.

When will I see you Lord?

Father whilst I still have breath,
Whilst I still worship from sin,
Take me to the least.

Take me to the least,
Take me to yourself.

Let your kingdom come,
And let the goats be sheep.
Let your glory fall,
And let eternal life reign.

Take me to the least,
Take me to yourself.
